How much do blue-collar workers get paid?

This choropleth map shows the wage comparison in the agriculture, forestry, fishing and hunting, and mining industries to all other occupations in the State of Alaska. The numbers used are the 2020 estimated median earnings for the civilian employed population 16 years and over (measured over a 12-month span using 2019 inflation-adjusted dollars). The overall industry is further subdivided as follows:

Agriculture, forestry, fishing and hunting
Mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction
Construction
Manufacturing
Wholesale trade
Retail trade
Transportation and warehousing, and utilities

Data is obtained through the US Census Bureau's data portal, and Natural Earth

Borough data didn't match (one set of data was more current than the other), so QGIS was used to perform a vector layer intersection to create the right polygon, data by attributes were joined, and finally exported as a GeoJSON.
