Prison Town Donut Run!

About

Leavenworth, Kansas has the distinction of being the first town in Kansas as well as a stop along the way of the Lewis and Clark expedition. Additionally, Leavenworth has the reputation of being a prison town due to its military, county, state, and federal prisons. The Google 5-star reviews of the prisons are gems of sarcastic humour if you're interested in a good laugh.

This map shows the myriad of prisons and inmate rehabilitation centres in the Fort Leavenworth, Leavenworth, and Lansing area of Kansas. No prison map is complete without police station locations. And no police station map is complete without locations to donut shops.

Starting with the Rod and Gun Club (home away from home), the route takes us through the gated community of Fort Leavenworth Army Installation, then out to Leavenworth's famous Federal Penitentiary, then onward to other prisons and police stations in Leavenworth and Lansing, with stops along the way to our donut shops.
